NASHUA, N.H. (AP) – A 35-year-old Hudson man has been sentenced up to six years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting two 15-year-old girls who baby-sat his children.

Jeffrey Long was convicted by a jury on five counts of felonious sexual assault and two of giving alcohol to minors after a two-day trial in Hillsborough County Superior Court.

Jurors found that Long assaulted the two girls at his home on Aug. 22, 2003, after serving them drinks.

Judge Bernard Hampsey on Monday sentenced Long to three to six years in prison, with another three to seven years to remain suspended for five years once he gets out, so long as he stays out of trouble.
