FARMINGTON – Fred O. Smith II, Republican Town Committee chairman, has called the 2006 Republican town caucus for 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, in Room C-23 of the Roberts Learning Center. From 6:30 to 7 p.m. new voters can register to participate.
The caucus will elect a town committee, members to the Franklin County Committee and delegates and alternates to the Republican State Convention to be held in May.
There will also be a Farmington Town Committee meeting after the caucus.
Sunday service
FARMINGTON – Members of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church are invited to bring a friend Sunday, Feb. 19.
Worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday school for all ages at 9 a.m.
Democratic caucus
TEMPLE – Democrats will caucus at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at the Temple Town Hall to select delegates to the Democratic State Convention, elect municipal officers and county committee members and to discuss policy issues affecting Maine residents.
Attendees are asked to bring their viewpoints, ideas and questions for discussion.
Refreshments will be served.
People not registered in a political party, who would like to enroll as a Democrat, may do so at the caucus.
