LEWISTON – Gerard F. Gauthier, 58, of Sabattus, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Central Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Lewiston on Nov. 29, 1947, the son of Roland A. and Laurette Bachand Gauthier. He was educated in local schools and was married May 3, 1969, to Rose-Marie Caron.

He was employed at Propsys Property Management Co. and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish. He enjoyed woodworking and helping people with various projects.

He is survived by his wife of Sabattus; a daughter, Michele Marshall of Sabattus; a son, Randall Gauthier and his fiance, Kera Beard, of Sabattus; his mother of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Hayley Marshall, Sabrina and Cassandra Gauthier, and Dustin and Cheyenne Beard; two sisters, Lina Haskell and husband, Mark, of Auburn, and Jane Bernier and husband, Richard, of Minot; an uncle, Rene Jalbert of Auburn; two aunts, Fernande Paradis and Jeannette Gendreau and husband, Willie, all of Lewiston; and nieces and nephews.
