This is in reference to a story published Feb. 12 about the Tampa Bay Lightning’s win in Boston over the Boston Bruins on Feb. 11. I believe that it was very important to point out that the Bruins had denied the Lightning a win in Boston since 1994.

In a sport such as hockey, that kind of home record against another team is a huge honor. With 21 meetings and a total of 16 wins and five ties, the Boston team seems to have the Tampa Bay team down to a science, at least at home.

I am glad to see that sportswriters notice those kinds of streaks and inform the public about them.
