LEWISTON – Janice A. Chick, 73, of Farmington passed away Feb. 16, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Farmington, Jan. 23, 1933, the daughter of Alfred and Stella (French) Robbins. She was educated in Farmington schools and worked as a cashier at local businesses in Farmington.

She was a member of LEA Lodge No. 18, the LAPM Somerset No. 26, a member and past president of the Rebecah Lodges of Farmington and Skowhegan, the Chesterville Grange and played in the Kitchen Band. She was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading at home.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Hutchins of Skowhegan; two sons, John Wahl and his wife, Debra, of Norridgewock and Leslie Chick and his wife, Unsil, of Savannah, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Bridgette Dellarma of Farmington, Leslie, Tony and Larry Chick, all of Savannah, Ga., Elmer Hutchins III and Dustin Hutchins; two great-grandchildren, Tanisha Dallarma and Aaron Chick; three sisters, Pat Hutchinson of Industry, Roberta Doyle of Tewksbury, Mass., and Carol Maxwell of Mansville, N.Y.; and five brothers, Leslie Robbins of Farmington, Eugene Robbins of Norton, Mass., Peter Robbins of Topsham, Roger Robbins of New Sharon and Steve Robbins of Ohio.

She was predeceased by her son, Lewis Chick; grandson, John Wahl Jr.; and two brothers, Calvin Robbins and Donald Robbins.
