AUBURN – Marie L. Gray, 90, of 440 Minot Ave., Auburn, died Saturday morning, Feb. 18, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility following a long illness.

She was born in Deer Isle on Nov. 8, 1915, the daughter of Mark H. and Albra M. (Robbins) Gray, and was a resident of this community for most of her life.

She married Gwynne Gray on Dec. 21, 1947, and he died on March 7, 1977.

She was employed as a housekeeper for many years at the Auburn Nursing Home until her retirement.

Marie enjoyed planting and crocheting.

She is survived by one son, Terry Gray and his wife, Helena, of Lewiston; one brother, Ray H. Gray of Littleton, Mass.; one sister, Shirley Cooper of Sedgwick; and one granddaughter, Alison Gray of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and Ernest Gray; and two sisters, Reba and Jessie Gray.
