AUBURN – The corporate and community services department of Central Maine Community College will offer a workshop on “Communicating with Influence” from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28. The cost is $125 and includes materials.
The premise of the workshop is that individual and team success depends upon the ability of individuals to communicate with others and be understood. The communication skills covered will help develop individual and group potential. Focus will be on maximizing creativity, to improve quality and productivity.
The course will be taught by Ken O’Brien. O’Brien works with the college to offer classes for the public and custom training programs for businesses. His experience includes more than 15 years as a consultant, and he has served businesses throughout New England with training in customer service, sales, supervision and computers.
