LEWISTON – City Motley Crue fans will have a shot to attend next month’s concert at the Colisee free of charge.

The city will give away eight pairs of tickets to the show to Lewiston residents. Winners will be selected at random.

The show is scheduled at 8 p.m., March 6. Tickets will be drawn on Feb. 28.

There are three ways to enter. Residents can call Lewiston City Hall at 784-2951, ext. 224, and leave a message; they can register online at www.ci.lewiston.me.us/motleycrue.htm; or go to City Hall and fill out a form at the Treasurer’s Office.

To register, people need to provide name, address and daytime telephone number, and will need to show proof of a Lewiston residence to collect their tickets.

Winners will be selected at random in a drawing and will be notified that day.

The city awarded five pairs of tickets to the May 2 “Larry the Cable Guy” show in a similar drawing. Winners of those tickets are Sandra Beaulieu, Helen Fox, Matt Wiers, Marc Bureau and Jamie Ouellette.

The city is also giving away tickets to upcoming Maineiacs games. Winners of the March 1 game against the Halifax Mooseheads are David Cunningham, Leo Fournier, Julie Brett, Dennis Chamberlain, David Bergeron, Hilary Blue, Tony Labbe and Erlene Allen. Winners of the March 17 game against the St. John Sea Dogs are Don Martin, Doreen Parker, Angela LaFrance, Karen Morrison, Judy Bilodeau, Jon Lizotte, Denis Ouellette and Louise Roy.
