LISBON FALLS – The Androscoggin-Sagadahoc Master Gardener volunteers will be offering a series of garden-related workshops at the Lisbon Falls Extension Office starting on Thursday, March 2, for seven weeks.

Residents are welcome to one or all workshops. Preregistration is required by calling 1-800-287-1458. Each workshop costs $5 a person, open to all.

The workshops are: March 2, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., “Enhancing Wildlife Habitat in Your Yard” by Charlotte Farnum.

March 8, Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., “Plant Propagation” by Fran Zabarowski.

March 16, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., “Tool Maintenance” by Brett Thompson.

March 18, Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon, “Tool Maintenance” by Brett Thompson.

March 23, Thursday 6 to 7:15 p.m., “Composting” and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., “Worm Composting” by Brett Thompson.

March 30, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., “Water Gardening” by Marc Geoffroy.

April 6, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., “Orchids” by Sharon Rahn.

April 13, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., “Container Gardening” by Nancy Barber.
