HEBRON – David W. Hall, 56, died Monday, Feb. 20, at Central Maine Medical Center after a long illness.

He was born on Jan. 4, 1950, in Norway, a son of Jesse Everett and Edith Mae Bushman Hall. He attended Hebron schools.

He served a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969 in the U.S.M.C. He was honorably discharged.

He has spent the last 50 years of his life in Hebron.

He married the former LuAnn Martin on Oct. 4, 1975.

He enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed going for rides in the mountains, family gatherings, and spending time with his friends. Last year, he started camping and kayaking. He enjoyed driving his 1978 Dodge Warlock.

He was especially proud of his son’s accomplishments. His son, Jesse, recently graduated as a chemical operations specialist. He also trained as a paratrooper and earned his wings. He was proud of him.

For over five years, he worked at Regional Waste Systems in Portland.

He is survived by his wife, LuAnn Martin Hall of Hebron; his son, Jesse D. Hall, P.V. 2 of Fort Benning, Ga.; his mother, Edith Hall Yonuss of Hebron; his brother, Michael Hall and his wife, Jeannie, of Hebron; four sisters, Pat Collins, Becky Martin and her husband, Jerry, Chris Mason and her husband, Jon, all of Hebron; and Ginny Slicer and her husband, Ted, of Oxford.

He was predeceased by his father, Jesse Hall.
