Lewiston – Laurent Emile Beaucage, 56, of Sabattus Street died unexpectedly on Sunday, Feb. 19.

He was born in Lewiston on March 28, 1949, the son of Emile and Pauline (Clairmont) Beaucage. He was a graduate of St. Dominic High School. He continued his education, becoming a certified public accountant.

He enjoyed collecting older books and restoring them. He also enjoyed collecting old records and other antiques of interest to him. He loved to garden, work around his house, go fishing, camping and hiking with his brothers and working on his cars. He liked photography and taking pictures of his family and animals.

He was a terrific and loving son, brother and uncle. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends and his cats.

He is survived by his mother, Pauline (Clairmont) Beaucage of Lewiston; brother, Claude and his wife, Barbara Beaucage, of Buckfield; sister, Nancy and her husband, Paul Ouellette, of Lewiston; sister-in-law, Diane Beaucage of Lewiston; two aunts, Bertha Beaucage of Lewiston and Marsella Lemay of Auburn; several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Emile Beaucage; and his brother, Marc Beaucage both of Lewiston.
