WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Solange F. (Pare) Langelier, 93, of Wakefield, Mass., died Feb. 18.

She was born and raised in Lewiston, and graduated from Lewiston High School. She moved to Brockton, Mass., in the 1950s, and had lived in Wakefield since 1962.

She was an active volunteer in several nursing homes in the Wakefield area.

She is survived by a daughter, Michele McKee of New York; a son, Philip A. Langelier of Wakefield; grandchildren, Nicole Langelier of Wakefield, Jill and Elizabeth Kadetsky of New York; and sister, Simone Beaulieu of Ashland, Mass.

She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice G. Langelier; sisters, Fluerette Batiste and Annette Roderick; and brothers, Roger and Raymond Pare.
