AUBURN – Gerard R. Simoneau, 68, of Greene, passed away Feb. 22, at the Hospice House Home of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice.

He was born in Lewiston on July 13, 1937, the son of Roger A. and Felicia Beaulieu Simoneau.

He was educated in local schools, and graduated from Central Maine Technical College as a boiler operator engineer. He was an avid train collector and enthusiast.

His hobbies included collecting die cast airplanes and military vehicles. He served three-and-a-half years in Vietnam before retiring after 20 years of faithful service.

He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

He was predeceased by his parents. A special thanks to the Androscoggin Home Health Care & the Hospice House.
