Unless otherwise noted, the following are to be arraigned on April 4 in Rumford District Court:

• Matthew Carrier, 21, Rumford, operating under the influence, 11:37 p.m. Feb. 21 on Hall Hill Road. He was released on $600 unsecured bail.

• James Anderson Sr., 35, probation violation, noon on Feb. 21 Congress Street. He was taken to Oxford County Jail in Paris.

• Brian Hutchinson, 19, Rumford, Oxford County Superior Court warrants on charges of burglary and theft, 1:27 p.m. Feb. 18 on Cumberland Street. He was taken to Oxford County Jail.

• Wilson Alves, 22, Rumford, operating under the influence and operating after suspension, 1:10 a.m. Feb. 18 on Waldo Street. He was taken to Oxford County Jail.

Accidents

• Feb. 19, 3:37 a.m. – A 1994 Pontiac driven by Colby Giroux, 18, of Dixfield struck a utility pole off Route 2 at Rumford Center after Giroux fell asleep at the wheel. Giroux and a passenger suffered minor injuries; the car sustained an estimated $3,000 damage.

• Feb. 16, 12:45 p.m. – A 1991 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Rosanna Seigle, 50, of Rumford collided with a 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck operated by Kim Chiasson, 50, of Mexico, at Maine Avenue and Hancock Street. No one was injured, but damage to Seigle’s sport utility vehicle was estimated at $3,500; to Chiasson’s truck, $5,500.
