The engineers of Platz Associates have every reason to be proud of the three parking garages they’ve built on Park Street, Chestnut Street and at the Southern Gateway in Lewiston (“Park place,” Feb. 19). They truly are beautifully designed. The green globe-shaped lights that top the Park Street garage on all sides are an especially attractive feature, I think; they make for a very pleasing nighttime sight.

I had hoped the Sun Journal would run an admiring piece on these handsome structures eventually. This recent article was just the ticket.
