DURHAM – The deadline for filing papers for the March 31 municipal election has passed, with only one contested race.
Selectman Daryl Pratt, who is not seeking re-election, is challenging incumbent Road Commissioner Clifton Larrabee Sr.
Former Selectman Michael VanDerWerf is seeking to return to the board.
Running for re-election unopposed are: Pauline Paradis for tax collector and treasurer; Linda Pfaffinger for three years on the School Committee; and James Beaulieu for one year on the School Committee.
Carol Minnehan-Lee and Jane Rice are seeking three-year seats on the Budget Committee. A third seat on the committee will be filled by write-in.
