READFIELD – Dirigo defeated Auburn 39-13 in the championship game to take top honors at the Central Maine Third-Fourth-Grade Travel Basketball Tournament held at Maranacook High School.
Dylan Kidder led the champs with 10 points. Brian Volkernick added 9 and Joey Hebert 6. Q. Brown netted 5 for Auburn. Dante Brooks and Cam Cormier added 4 each.

Girls’ tournament slated
NORTH ANSON – The first annual Cobra Girls’ Invitational Basketball Tournament is upcoming.
YBOA, AAU and school teams are welcome. Age groups are 11-under through 16-under, or grade bracket divisions, Grades 5-6 through varsity.
Teams may choose the following dates: March 4-5, 11-12, 18, April 8-9.
Each team is guaranteed 3 games. Entry fee is $150 per team.
