LEWISTON – The Andy Valley Softball Umpires’ Association is seeking new recruits for the upcoming season.
Registration for the 2006 season for veteran umps and those desiring to become one is scheduled for Monday, March 6 at 7:15 p.m. at the Lewiston Armory.
Phil Laurendeau, the new District 9 Umpire-in-Chief, says there is a need for new umpires to officiate school and recreational league games.
Following Monday’s registration session, a series of clinics will begin the following night.
