MINOT – Polls at the Town Office will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Friday for municipal elections.
Residents will elect two selectmen and two School Committee members, all for three-year terms, and vote on whether to adopt a revised comprehensive plan that will guide the town’s growth for the next 10 years.
Selectmen Daniel Callahan Jr. and Dean Campbell are unopposed in seeking re-election.
School Committee members Larry Bates and Colleen Quint both cited demands of work and family as their reasons for not seeking re-election.
Susan Callahan completed the necessary paperwork to place her name on the ballot. Earl Futch recently announced he is running as a write-in candidate for the School Committee. Also running as a write-in is George Buker.
