LEWISTON – The Lady Blue Devils edged Fryeburg 4-3 to advance to the semifinal round in the league hockey playoffs. Michelle Rancourt scored twice in regulation. Chelsea Gagnon tallied the other goal. Assists went to Rancourt, Kelly Carver and Katie Cobb. With the score tied 3-3 at the end of regulation, a shoot-out was held. Lewiston goalie Katie Avery, who turned back 28 shots in regulation time, stopped all 5 shots in the shoot-out. Cobb scored a shoot-out goal to give the Lady Devils the win.

Lewiston was playing in the semifinals Friday night at the University of Southern Maine.
