RAYMOND, N.H. (AP) – A local man is recovering after he fell off his snowmobile on Governor’s Lake on Saturday night.

Fish and Game Conservation Officer Scott Kenison said Donald Helides, 46, was rescued from the ice after an unspecified accident that knocked him off the machine around 10 p.m. Kenison said Helides was taken to Exeter Hospital. Hospital officials on Sunday said he was not listed as a patient. They would not say whether he’d received treatment there earlier.
