OXFORD – Walkers, cancer survivors, community leaders, team captains and workers are needed to help plan the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Oxford, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3, at the Don Gouin Athletic Field.

Relay For Life is the signature event of the American Cancer Society, an overnight fundraiser that celebrates survivors and remembers loved ones.

Teams of eight to 15 members will gather with tents and sleeping bags to join with more than 4,000 communities nationwide that sponsor relays.

For more information or to volunteer, contact Tracey Frye at 743-7326 or Joelle Corey McDaniels at 743-5754. The next volunteer committee meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, at the Norway Town Office.
