There will be a student art exhibit recognizing March as Youth Art Month.
The opening reception is Sunday, March 12, from 1-3 p.m. at the Maine Education Office in Augusta. The students work that is submitted by the Maine Art Education Association is framed by the maine Education Association.
The following Lewiston Middle School students will have their art on display in this exhibit. Kyle Rousseau’s triptik of his silk-screen print will be on display as well as a multiple colored block print by Asia Castro, Sarah Patrie, Linsay Gaumont and Brittany Pray. Other student work from around the state will also be on display from March 12, through fall 2006. This show is coordinated by the Maine Art Education Association and sponsored by The Maine Education Association.
The public is invited to the opening.
