Lewiston Middle School had a skating party to reward the students who got on the behavior honor roll or the academic honor roll. It was February 14, as a reward for the second quarter. Around 500 kids out of about 700 went.
Every year the students walk to the Collisee to skate. Mr. Scott Walker comments “It would be nice if we could have an event every quarter. There is never any problem at the party, and the students seem to have a lot of fun.” On the other quarters, the school would give the kids treats, like a kool-aid box at lunch.
