LEWISTON – Monita M. Pare, 57, of 49 Acadia Ave., formerly of 390 Lincoln St., died Monday, March 6, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Lewiston, Dec. 5, 1948, the daughter of Clifford E. and Cecile M. Cote Pare. She was educated in Lewiston schools and, prior to her retirement in 1977, was employed at Belle-Moc Shoe Co. She was a member of the former St. Mary’s Parish and enjoyed word search puzzles and animals.

She is survived by two sisters, Anita Deschenes of Lewiston and Pauline Ivy of Auburn; a brother, Gerald Pare and wife, Carlene, of Mechanic Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
