Unless otherwise noted, the following are to be arraigned on April 4 in Rumford District Court:

• James Towers, 39, Rumford, sex offender violation for failure to report change of address, and violation of conditions of release, 11:05 a.m. Feb. 27 on Maple Street. He was released on $1,000 cash bail.

• Mark Ambrose, 31, Rumford, violation of protection from abuse order, 11:15 a.m. Feb. 26. He was released on $200 unsecured bail.

• Robert Terrill, 22, Canton, warrant on charge of failure to pay fine, 11:17 a.m. Feb. 25 at Rumford Hospital. He was released after paying $10 fine and is not to be arraigned.

• Harvey Moody, 24, Gray, warrant on charge of failure to pay fine on a fish-and-game violation, 1 p.m. Feb. 24 in Rumford. He was released on $250 cash bail by a Rumford District Court judge. The arraignment date is pending.

Accidents

• Feb. 26, 4:38 p.m.: Krista Ronan, 18, of Rumford, crashed a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier into a utility pole on Route 2 near Whippoorwill Road. Ronan suffered a small head laceration and was taken by Med-Care Ambulance to Rumford Hospital. The car sustained an estimated $5,000 damage.

Arrests

RUMFORD – Unless otherwise noted, the following are to be arraigned on May 4 in Rumford District Court:

• Scott A. Hart, 23, Rumford, operating after suspension and violating conditions of release, 8:13 a.m. March 5. He was taken to Oxford County Jail in Paris.

• Tyson M. Jasud, 21, Rumford, furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol and violating conditions of release, 1:35 a.m. March 5 on Hall Hill, Rumford. He was taken to Oxford County Jail.

• Susan Thornton, 41, Rumford, Franklin County warrant on charge of driving to endanger, 9:35 p.m. March 4 on Maine Avenue. She failed to post $750 cash bail and was taken to Franklin County Jail in Farmington. She is to be arraigned at an as yet undetermined date in Farmington District Court.

• Gail Urquart, 42, Salem, domestic assault, 10:37 p.m. March 3. She was released on $700 unsecured bail.

• Michel Violette, 57, Rumford, violating conditions of release and violating a protection order, 2 p.m. Feb. 28 at Togus Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta. He was taken to Oxford County Jail.

Accidents

• March 3, 11:04 a.m. – A 1995 Mazda, driven by Anthony Koris, 67, of Rumford, failed to yield and struck a 2002 Dodge operated by Diane Breton, 54, of Rumford, on Lincoln Avenue. There were no injuries. Damage to the Mazda was estimated at $2,500; to the Dodge, $1,500.
