RANGELEY – Kate Jamison of Rangeley, a senior at Rangeley Lakes Regional School, has been selected to receive the 2006 Principal’s Award, Principal Rich Curley has announced.

The award, sponsored by the Maine Principal’s Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

Throughout her years at the high school, Jamison has distinguished herself in the classroom, on the playing fields in golf, basketball, soccer and softball, on the stage, and as an active member of her church, Interact, TMAD, Math Team, Outdoor Club and National Honor Society.

Jamison, Curley and other winners and their principals will attend an Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center in Bangor on Saturday, April 8.
