WELLS – Jean Eleanor (Marstaller) Sandford Silvius, 83, died on March 11, at her home in Wells, after a prolonged illness.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1922, in Auburn, the daughter of the late August and Elizabeth Irene (Brougham) Marstaller.

She was married on July 10, 1946, to the late Frank I. Sandford and they were married for more than 50 years. After his death, she married the late John Silvius and remained so until his death.

Survivors include six children; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters; and an aunt.
