AUBURN – An observance of the third anniversary of the beginning of the hostilities in Iraq will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at the Civil War Monument on the corner of Court and Turner streets.
The gathering is being organized by local people affiliated with the American Friends Service Committee and Maine Bridges for Peace. More information on the national event is available at www.afsc.org/iraq/
