AUBURN – Cindy Biesecker of P&G/Tambrands Inc. will discuss alternative approaches to conflict resolution in the workplace at the Maine Women’s Network luncheon on Wednesday, March 22, at Tambrands, 2879 Hotel Road.

Biesecker, has worked with Procter & Gamble for more than 20 years in four U.S. locations. After using her engineering degree working in manufacturing management for 14 years, Biesecker moved into human resources. She now is human resources manager at Tambrands, which has almost 600 employees.

She’ll explain the five primary modes of dealing with conflict and the rewards of addressing conflict, while identifying people’s dominant conflict modes.

The cost is $12 for members of the women’s network and $14 for nonmembers. The cost at the door will be $14 for members and $16 for nonmembers. Advanced registration highly recommended and is nonrefundable, according to a spokesman for the network.
