Livermore Falls – Claudette Marie (Poulin) Deacon, 68, of Cedar Street, died Friday, March 17, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born Jan. 24, 1938, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Josephat and Blanche Poulin and attended St. Rose of Lima School in Jay. On June 17, 1973, she married Milton Charles Deacon in New Jersey. She had worked at Bass Shoe Co. in Wilton and was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a former member of the AmVets Auxiliary for many years and looked forward to the functions and the dances. She always loved to dance and listen to music.

She is survived by a son and his wife, Carl and Karen Legere of Minot; a daughter, Michele Wallis of Livermore Falls; brothers, Norman Poulin of Florida, Norman Par of Delaware, Lawrence Par and his wife, Marlene, of Livermore, and Joey Poulin and fiance, Beverly, of Livermore Falls; sisters, Gertrude Albert of Augusta, Isabelle Marston of Florida, Pauline Duguay and her husband, Norman, of Livermore Falls, Florence Couture and her husband, Real, of Jay, Rita Chicoine of Livermore Falls, Gerry Richards and her husband, Lynwood, of East Jay, Louise Bryant of Livermore Falls, Doris Par and her partner, Ellen, of Wilton, Jeannine Hebert of Jay, and Gloria Norton and her husband, Gordon, of Wilton; grandchildren, Danielle Wallis and Rachel Wallis of Livermore Falls, Kaylie Legere, David Robinson, Marissa Robinson and Karissa Robinson, all of Minot; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Paul Par; and her husband, M. Charles Deacon.
