JAY – Frank and Christine Keene of Jay are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shawna Keene of Syracuse, N.Y., to Joshua Martell of Champaign, Ill, son of Francis and Dorothy Martell of Sanford.
Miss Keene is a 2005 graduate of Houghton College and is currently attending Syracuse University, pursuing a master’s degree in computer science. She is employed at Carousel Center in Syracuse.
Mr. Martell is a 2003 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and a 2005 graduate of the Greatbatch School of Music at Houghton College, with a master’s degree in music. He is employed at Wolfram Research Inc. in Champaign.
The wedding will be held on Sept. 30 at 1:30 p.m. at Bean’s Corner Baptist Church in Jay.
