My laptop is a huge help during my school day. It is great to have a laptop because it is there when I need it and it is mine so I am not always waiting to use one somewhere else. Without my laptop, my everyday school life would be much harder.

There is one problem; we are not allowed to take our laptops home. The reason I think this is a problem is we get assignments that we have to type and we only have a few days or the weekend to do them and we can’t take our laptops home to work on them.

I think that we should be able to take them home because we could get so much more school work done. We get homework over the weekend, and we cannot do much of anything at home, many of the students do not even have computers at home. But if we could take them home, we would have all weekend to do it.

In conclusion, I think it would be much more helpful for students and parents if we could bring our laptops home. I think we might be able to take them home if students and parents take action and bring this issue to the attention to the Auburn School Department or the Auburn School Committee.
