AUBURN – Sheila Lawlor of Gray has been named retention adviser in the Student Support Services Program at Central Maine Community College. She will work in the College Student Success Center as part of the federally-funded TRiO program, which provides academic and other support services to college students who are first-generation college students, from low-income families or who have a disability.
Lawlor is a 2000 graduate of the University of Maine and also is certified as a career development facilitator/work force developer. She worked for Training Resource Center in Portland for three years before coming to the college.
