Women’s meeting

PARIS – The Christian Women United will meet Tuesday, March 21, at the First Congregational Church in South Paris.

Luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m. The speaker will be Rob Lagueux of Norway, who will discuss his experiences when he was a Peace Corps volunteer in Dominica in the Caribbean. Those who have not been contacted but would like a reservation may call Pearl Anderson at 743-5724.

Class reunion

PARIS – The Oxford Hills High School Class of 1981 is planning its 25-year reunion on Aug. 5. Organizers are looking for classmates’ addresses and contact information. Ministries auction

OXFORD – The Resistance Ministries, a nonprofit youth ministry, will have a Chinese Auction fundraiser on Saturday, March 25, featuring new items at the Hosanna Church Building.

The doors will open for ticket sales at 11 a.m., and the tickets will start to be drawn at 1 p.m. All ticket buyers are guaranteed to win something. There will be a dollar table, grab bags and a 50/50 raffle. Food will be available for purchase. For more information, call the ministry office at 743-6982.

Church recital

NORWAY – A recital will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the Unitarian Church, 479 Main St. It will feature the songs of Roger Quilter and J. Brahms. Ed Gabrielsen, tenor, and Danielle Tran on piano will perform.
