BRUNSWICK – Mary Hodgkins, 89, died Sunday, March 19, at the Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick. She lived in Roxbury and Mexico for most of her life.

Born in Roxbury on Aug. 25, 1916, she was a daughter of John and Essie (Hodsdon) Sennett. She attended schools in Roxbury and Rumford.

She was married in Roxbury on Dec. 16, 1933, to the late Herbert I. Hodgkins, who died in Lewiston on Jan. 9, 1990.

She is survived by a daughter, Theresa Hall and her husband, Larry, of Bowdoin; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Ruth McHale; two brothers, James and John Sennett; and three sisters, Catherine Hall, Annie White and Joyce Arsenault.
