LISBON – Students from the Lisbon High School Students Against Destructive Decisions Chapter presented the “Samantha Skunk” anti-smoking program for Lisbon Community School second-graders on March 13.
Soliel Mathieu and Cameron Bubar told the story of “Samantha Skunk” and making good choices. Sierra Guay and Mindy Sullivan joined Officer Darin Estes and Officer Renee Bernard for the presentation.
The student had an opportunity to ask the chapter members about high school life and making good choices. Member Soliel Mathieu explained that SADD members have fun doing healthy activities, such as snow boarding and skiing, white water rafting, hiking, roller-skating and swimming.
The chapter teams up with the Lisbon Drug Abuse Resistance Education program and the Lisbon Recreation Department for outings.
