RUMFORD – The River Valley Chamber of Commerce and the River Valley Growth Council, hosts of the River Valley Expo, have announced that planning has begun for the 2006 River Valley Expo. Available sponsorships include: one mountain sponsorship, two valley sponsorships, one awards/social reception sponsorship and two river media sponsorships. Sponsors will receive advertising benefits according to the package they choose.
Packages are flexible and local businesses are encouraged to join to make sponsorships even more affordable.
The expo has been a success for the past three years since its inception. It is a two-day event designed to showcase businesses in the 10 towns that make up the River Valley area. The expo also educates the community on the availability of products and services in their area.
It is estimated that between 2,000 and 3,000 people attended last year’s event on Community Day.
