RUMFORD – Fourth-grade students and their families from SAD 44, SAD 21, SAD 43 and St. Anthanasius St. John gathered at Black Mountain of Maine on March 5 to see the 2006 Tar Wars posters and to celebrate the contest classroom winners and regional winners.

This year’s regional winners are: first, Hannah Robinson, Sarah Greenwald’s classroom, Dixfield Elementary; second, tie, Jessica Dirago, Lisa Haines’ classroom, Crescent Park, and Morgan Gordon, Connie Venskus’ classroom, St. Athanasius St. John; third, tie, Benjamin Eaton, Denise Richard’s classroom, Rumford Elementary, and Trenton Virgin, Richard Plante’s classroom, Meroby.

The slogan this year was “Look at Me! I’m Smoke-Free!”
