Marine meeting

AUBURN – The Central Maine Detachment, Marine Corps League, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 30, at the New Auburn American Legion Post 153, side door on Cook Street.

Any Marine and Navy Corpsman/women who served with the Marines is eligible to join. For more information, show up or call Raymond Lemieux at 784-0656. If not home, leave a message and he will return the call as soon as possible. A snack lunch will follow.

Legion birthday

LISBON – Coombs Mountfort American Legion, Auxiliary and the Sons of the Legion celebrated the Legion birthday and honored the post, unit and sons past commanders and unit presidents on March 18 at the post home. The oldest past commander present was Henry Jacques, 84.

Adoption meeting
