LEWISTON – Marguerite “Peggy” Polasko, 77, a resident of 550 College St., Lewiston, died Monday, March 20, at Montello Manor, with family by her side, after a long illness.

She was born in Norwalk, Conn., April 13, 1928, the daughter of George and Mary (Malinek) Polasko. She attended Norwalk, Conn. schools and also attended the Traphagen School of Design in New York City. She worked for Noroton Publishing in Darien, Conn. for many years, retiring in the early 1990s.

After retirement, she made her home with her sister and brother-in-law in Turner.

Survivors include one sister, Cynthia Pierce and her husband, Webster, of Turner; three nieces, Susan Pierce of Northport, Jody Glover and her husband, Robert, of Winthrop and Gail Bussiere and her husband, Ronald, of Turner; five nephews, Scott Pierce and his wife, Carol, of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Kevin Pierce of Lewiston, Matthew Pierce of Turner, Mark Pierce and his wife, Holly, of Norwalk, Conn. and Michael Pierce and his wife, Deana, of Turner; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
