RUMFORD – The Parents and Teachers Helping Students organization at St. Athanasius St. John School is preparing for an auction at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 7, at Black Mountain of Maine.

Committee members have gathered more than 125 items from businesses, parents and individuals. They include Red Sox tickets, Vera Bradley bags, quilts, Loudon race tickets, Fun Town passes, Longaberger baskets, Coach handbags, Creative Memories scrapbooking supplies, Cousinart coffeemaker/grinder, cord of wood, swim passes, dance lessons, American Girl Doll and savings bonds.

Proceeds will allow the organization to assist St. Athanasius St. John School to purchase classroom items for teachers, update the computer lab and participate in educational and cultural events.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. Auctioneer will be Mark Prevost.
