WESTBROOK – Reindeer Theatre Company will present “Phantom Tollbooth,” a play centering around a boy named Milo who is bored by everything in his life.

Nothing is interesting and everything is pointless. That is, until the day a tollbooth appears in his bedroom.

Because he has nothing better to do with his day, Milo grabs his toy car and drives through the tollbooth- into a world unlike anything he has ever known.

As Milo travels through Dictionopolis, he meets many crazy characters, and with the help of his faithful watchdog, Tock (who has an alarm clock for a body), journeys toward the Mountains of Ignorance on a mission to rescue the twin princesses, Rhyme and Reason.

“Phantom Tollbooth,” written by Norton Juster, is directed by Jamie Cluchey.

The play will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 31, April 1-2 and April 7, 8 and 9, at the Warren Memorial Library, 479 Main St. Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7 p.m., Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children under 18.
