NORWAY – The Oxford Hills SCORE Chapter has scheduled workshops in business planning for business start-ups which will be offered during April at the Norway Town Office, 26 Danforth St.

Workshops will be held on successive Wednesday evenings, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in accordance with the following schedule: Preparing a Business Plan, April 5; Marketing, April 12; Cash Flow Projection, April 19; and Financing a Small Business, April 26.

The workshops will be presented by members of SCORE and the Small Business Development Center/Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments. Workshop content has been structured to provide valuable information and assistance in writing a business plan, basic market research, projecting cash flow and obtaining financing for a new business. Writing a good business plan and understanding marketing and the details of cash flow and finances are vital to the success of any new business.
