This is in response to the story “Norway suspect is out of U.S.” that was printed March 20.

Excuse me, but where is the presumption of innocence? It seems to me that the Sun Journal has the woman tried and convicted – how scary.

Here you have it, in small-town America – a newspaper, police chief and a Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman all jumping the gun and onto the “guilty” bandwagon.

The article is full of inferences, innuendoes and pure speculation. Shame on the Sun Journal.
