Public supper

CASCO – A public supper will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 1, sponsored by the Sunshine Club of Webbs Mills, at the Crescent Lake Community Center, Route 11, Webbs Mills. The menu will include homebaked beans, hot dogs, American chop suey, pasta, potato and gelatin salads, coleslaw, cornbread and homebaked pies with beverage. Cost is adults, $6; age 12 and under, $3; under 5, free.

Church speaker

NORWAY – The Norway Unitarian Universalist Church will welcome the Rev. Helen Zidowicki, youth director of the Northeast District of the Unitarian Universalist Association, to the pulpit at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 2.

Child care will be provided at the First Universalist Church, Norway, 479 Maine St. A coffee hour will be held the the downstairs concert hall after the service.

Knitting guild

PARIS – The Western Maine Knitting Guild will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 4, at the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St., South Paris. Anyone interested in knitting is welcome. For more information, call Midge Leighton at 743-7677.

Parents program

NORWAY – The Child Health Center will hold a free presentation by the maine parent federation on “The Transition to Kindergarten” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 7, at the Child Health Center Conference Room, 199 Main St.

Participants will explore how transitions affect everyone, from the child entering kindergarten to the parent who is seeing their child off to school.

Those interested should register by Wednesday, April 5, by calling 743-7035. Seating is limited. Light refreshments will be available.

Teen concert

BRIDGTON – A chem free teen concert will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at the Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot St. Local bands will play. For more information, contact Cinda Roy at 647-3116. This event is sponsored by OneME and the Bridgton Community Center.
