Dustin W. Knox, 19, Carthage Road, Carthage, received a summons on charges of criminal speeding and eluding an officer on March 26 for incidents that occurred at 6 a.m. on March 25 on Route 142. Chief Richard Pickett said Knox was clocked at more than 100 mph in a 50 mph zone. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on May 2.

Shannon W. Bates, 32, of Songo Pond Road, Bethel, received a summons on a charge of operating under the influence at 6:30 p.m. on March 19. He was taken to the Rumford Police Department for an Intoxilyzer test, then released. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on May 2.

Accident

A 1997 Volkswagen sedan driven by Nathanial J. Edwards, 18, of Harrison, sustained $4,500 damage when the vehicle went out of control as it traveled east on Route 2 and struck a guardrail at 6:40 a.m., March 11. Chief Pickett said Edwards fell asleep at the wheel. Two passengers sustained minor injuries and were transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital.

Arrest

• Kevin Williamson, 20, Poplar Hill, Mexico, bench warrant for failure to appear, at 1 p.m. on March 12. He was released on $100 bail and was scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on March 14.

• Shannon Gannon, 35, of Mitchell Street, on a charge of domestic assault, at 12:50 a.m., March 25, on Mitchell Street. She was taken to the Mexico Police Department where she was released on $500 unsecured bail. She is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on May 2.

• David Gallant, 30, of Peru, on a charge of operating under the influence, at 1:11 a.m. on March 26 on Main Street. He was also received a summons on a charge of speeding. He was transported to Oxford County jail. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on May 2.

• Nicole White, 20, of Rumford, received a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:30 p.m. on March 25, on Thompson Hill Road. She is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on May 2.

• Nicholas J. Ashton, 27, Rumford, operating under the influence, March 26, Bethel police, released on personal recognizance.
