PARIS – RMS Communications Group Inc., recycler and re-marketer of old cell phones, has announced it entered into a partnership agreement with the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office TRIAD Program to raise funds for the continuation of the TRIAD Program.

Under the agreement, the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office TRIAD will collect used cell phones in communities through out Oxford County, which will be turned over to RMS for re-marketing through the company’s 911 Cell Phone Bank program. In return, RMS will reimburse the TRIAD Program with cash to be used for projects that target crime prevention for senior citizens in Oxford County.

Residents who have unused cell phones are encouraged to drop them off at the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or call Linda Hooker, TRIAD coordinator, at 743-9554, ext. 3, or 1-800-733-1421, ext. 3, for a list of other drop-off locations.
