The Smucker’s Stars on Ice tour, featuring Olympic and World champion skaters, will bring its “A Show …about the show” to the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland Thursday, April 13. Headlining the event will be 2002 Olympic Gold medalist Alexei Yagudin; world-renowned 2002 Olympic pair champions Jamie Salé and David Pelletier of Canada, and Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze of Russia, above; World Champion and six-time U.S. National Champion Todd Eldredge; World Champion and two-time Japanese Champion Yuka Sato; World bronze medalists and three-time U.S. National Pair Champions Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman; and eight-time British National Champion Steven Cousins. Six-time Canadian National Champion Jennifer Robinson and two-time U.S. National Pair Champion Jason Dungjen will make their Smucker’s Stars on Ice debuts in this year’s production. Olympic Champion and skating icon Scott Hamilton will serve as host and narrator, taking audiences through the creative process, including auditions, not-so-perfect moments, life on the road, and finally… another opening night.
