LEWISTON – The family of a 17-year-old girl missing since Sunday says the teenager has been without her medication for four days.

Police are also searching for Ashley Harbin, who has not been seen by her family since Sunday afternoon.

“We are actively searching for her,” said Lewiston police Lt. Tom Avery. “We are following up leads and all the officers have seen her picture.”

Harbin is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, roughly 180 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. Her mother, Sharon Harbin, said her daughter takes medication for emotional problems and that the girl left the meds at home.

“It’s very tough, as a parent,” Sharon Harbin said.

Police said Ashley is known to have friends in the downtown area. They asked that anyone with information about the girl’s whereabouts phone them at 784-6422. Sharon Harbin was also inviting information at 795-7952.
